train schedule

I am connecting between two trains in Madrid (Barcelona to Madrid and then on to Toledo.) ON the Renfe schedule for the train closest to my arrival time it says: ?transbordos.txt40? I can't seem to figure out what that means and Google translate doesn't know it either!!! Can anyone help?

I'm sort of guessing that it's too tight a connection (40 minutes) but not sure.

What it means is that you should allow 40 minutes to go from the arrivals area to the departure area. You will have to clear security again.

Plenty of places to eat in the station around the tropical garden.I guess you will have luggage w/you so too complicated to go outside the station.Be sure to allow yourself enough time to be at the correct place to catch the train to Toledo.
You actually don't have that much time to kill!

If you have purchased Preferente or Preferente Plus tickets, then you will be allowed in the first class lounge at the station up to two hours before your departure. Inside are snacks, coffee, etc.. , as well as a comfortable waiting area, no crowds and your luggage is secure.
