touris bus in Prague

hi, is there a tourist bus in Prague that allows you to go on and off at attractions for a whole day, like in other European capitals ?
thank you

I couldn't swear to it, but I really don't think so. I know they didn't used to, although I haven't been there in a couple years. I doubt it because Prague isn't like London, Paris, Vienna, etc, in terms of central city streets and infrastructure. Much of the central city is closed of to major traffic and the streets are not as broad with major traffic as in London and Paris, even in other others that aren't pedestrian only but in central Prague.

There are some companies that do city bus tours, but I don't think you can buy one ticket and hop on and off all day (like Prague Sightseeing Tours). Those are not the big double-decker buses like you see doing this in other cities, either, but very small vehicles.

I was just in Prague and I didn't see any ON-OFF buses. My hotel furnished me with brochures for various tourist services, and not one mentioned an ON-OFF bus.

There is really no need for ON-OFF buses in Prague with the great Metro and trams. It is also very easy to walk between various sites as "center city" Prague is quite small.

If you want tourist services, head to CEDOK on Na Prikope.

I've just come back from Prague and didn'r find any hop on-off buses. There are lots of organised tours, but IMO they are VERY expensive, bearing in mind that you can easily tour the city either on foot or using the tram/metro system.

I've lived there for a year, and never did i see any busses like this. The reason being, the streets are so small and windy. In fact, cars aren't allowed on most streets in the center, and the public transpertation you'll see as a tourist will be trams and the metro...but it's a small enough city that you won't need a tour bus. Walk around and enjoy! Don't rush it...
