Touring Athens and Delphi
We have limited time in Athens before going to a few of the islands on our vacation.
We'd really love to see the best of Athens as well as Delphi. Is this possible in one day? Are there any tours that would cover both?
Of will we have to make a decision?
We will have the afternoon of arrival as well as all the next day. If need be, we'll have to forgo our nap, try and stay awake and perhaps see Athens that afternoon.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you DejaVu. That confirms what I've been reading. I think for this trip, enjoying what we can in Athens will be the best thing to do.
Of would it be better to skip Athens and see Delphi?

Unles you are absolutely intent on seeing the ruins in Delphi I would stick to Athens and environs. There is a very interesting museum at Delphi but other than that and the ruins not a lot else.
Yes, Athens also has "ruins" such as the Parthenon but at least with that you don't have to use your imagination quite as much to "picture" what it must have been like when intact.
