Toulouse Hotel and B&B Recommendations Sought
We're looking for a place to stay for just 2 nights in Toulouse, moderately priced, not far from the station for our TGV trip to Paris. If any of you have a favorite B&B or hotel you can recommend, that would be very helpful.
Through my other forum posting I received so many good ideas that setting an itinerary for our almost 3 weeks in france has been made both interesting and easy.
Thanks.
Mark

HI Mark,
Haven't been yet, but....I posed a similar question and based on several Fodorites' answers, booked Hotel Albert 1e. Like you, I wanted a place near the RR station. We also wanted easy walking distance to streets around Place du Capitole.
We also checked a B and B called Les Loges de St Sernin but it was more expensive

KayDoll, thanks for another reasonably priced and well-reviewed recommendation. seem It is good to have an alternative in case one place is fully booked. We got a room with two twins for 75 euros at Albert 1er; it is the same price as Hotel due Taur.
Mark, we'll be at Albert 1er at end of May and I will post my feedback on it. A recent Fodors thread said their 10 Euto big breakfast is worth the price, if you're a "breakfast" guy!
