Top Venice Restaurants

Hi Everyone,

Can you kindly give me the top 3-5 restaurants in Venice? My husband and I are going for our 1 year anniversary and we would like to go somewhere EXTRA special (pricing does not matter 200pp ok).

Thanks in advance,
Natalie

Do a search on Venice restaurants. You'll have enough info to keep you occupied for hours! Lots of opinions... you'll have to decide which ones coincide with your tastes.
Ciao.

I'd try Cipriani's hotel on Giudecca. They have a private launch from San Marco. Big bucks.

Da Ivo, sublime restaurant. This was the best meal we had in all of Italy last summer. Nothing else will compare to this gem. My husband is still talking about his dinner!!

Da Fiore in San Polo. Absolutely sensational and one of those meals where we knew it was going to be expensive (and it was), but the wonderful memories of the meal have far outlasted the momentory pain of the cost! Book well ahead, particularly if it's a Friday or Saturday night. You did used to be able to book online, but their website is no longer - so either get your hotel to book or phone them well ahead of time.

Monaco - Grand Canal - a wonderful restaurant in the hotel. Make sure when you book to ask for a table with a view across to the Salute.
