The Trastavere hotel looks great. There are lots of great restaurants in that area, Glass and La Gensola were two of our favorites in Rome. It was very happening area at night!
Santa Maria in Trastavere is gorgeous and for my next trip we must get to Santa Cecelia in Trastavere....still mad at mself for missing that while we were in Rome.
Rome is not huge, and every area has something to offer.

quite right denise - so you should be. seriously, we had no idea what we were doing on our first day in Rome, and happened upon St. Cecilia's by mistake. lucky us!
