Thrift Stores in Paris

Bonjour!
I am going to Paris for a few days in May and am looking for cheap, cute thrift stores/boutiques in the area around the Notre Dame/St. Michel area. I'm mainly looking for cute sandals, skirts and dresses.
Merci beaucoup.

Are you talking about consignment/second hand type shops when you talk about "thrift stores"? IME the word "cheap" does not compute when applied to the area you are talking about in the center of Paris.

There is a store nearby that sells clothing by the kilo. You'll have fun digging around.
Just Google "fripes kilo" for locations.

I'll be darned, Fuzzbucket. I stand corrected. I will tell my wife, so she can explore those shops, rather than the ones she might go in that make my wallet itch.

The kilo shop on Blvd. Saint Germain at Saint Michel has a huge second hand clothing store almost across the street from it. I don't remember the name but it's on the n. side of the street. The store appeared to be loaded with goodies. . . .cheap!!!

I see many buyers for theatre etc there all the time. It's a tad more expensive than the kilo shops and you need to persevere, but I've bought great things there.

Emmaus second-hand stores are the equivalent of our Salvation Army/Good Will stores - religious run- ones all over Paris - see map:

Kilotime is another shop that sells clothing by weight.

However, here is a more complete list of thrift shops:
