Three weddings (no funeral)- Paris accommodation question
Some of you may remember the last two French weddings we were invited to.....
We are invited to a third in Paris on the 12th April.
On the basis that we're not thinking of the Crillon, and I'm trying to gather other people's ideas of what's good, where would YOU stay for 3 or 4 nights over a long weekend in Paris in the springtime.

Sheila - why are you not staying at the same place as last time? Just curious.
If I could shell out the bucks I liked the look of the Madison Hotel on Blvd.St.Germain. It has got good revues from Fodorites.

The last time we stayed for the wedding itself in an Ibis in Bercy with dozens of other guests at the expense of the hosts; we then moved to a small hotel in the 17th, which was near friends, but, whilst it was OK, it was nothing to right home about.
The one before was in Beaune- not handy for a Parisian wedding
We had a weekend last year in the Hotel des Grands Hommes. And we could go back there. I'm just extending my experiences...
Actually, I'm typing this as I'm speaking to my hostess, and she's again organising a single hotel for all her guests. So we'll be there after all

You might try Hotel Lancaster or InterContinental Paris LeGrand... both will be less than the Crillon.
If you book through Virtuoso, you'll also receive significant complimentary amenities ... full daily breakfast and upgrade on arrival if available at Lancaster ... upgrade and Club Lounge access at Le Grand.
