Comments on these "crap" hotels?

Charles, I respectfully disagree with dave. I have not stayed at the Thistle LG, but I have stayed twice at the KG and was very pleased both times.

Charles, I was at the Thistle Lancaster Gate last year, and while a 5-star hotel it is not. The room was big enough for three of us (wife, child, myself) and the bathroom was clean.<BR><BR>Overall, I thought it was a decent hotel in London, we did walk past the Kensington Gardens a few times on our way to the tube stop, but we had a fine three nights there.<BR><BR>Hope this helps!

I stayed at the Thistle KG last October and it was fine. Room (for 2) was large and clean. Weirdest thing was the eggs at breakfast were absolutely tasteless.
