Taxi Waterloo Station to Euston Station

Does anyone know the approximate cost of the taxi fare from Waterloo Station to Euston Station. My friend will have been travelling on the Euro express.

Depends on the time of day (and how much luggage you have) but it's roughly £8/9-£12/13.

Personally I'd just get on the Northern Line (tube)and save a lot of money.

I agree with nona1. If he/she has a manageable amount of luggage, go to the Waterloo underground station inside the terminal and it is only six stops (with no changes of trains) and a lot quicker than going through Central London traffic.

As she's managed the baggage on Eurostar I think she's probably better off using the tube. Don't forget if she uses taxis she's still got to lump the stuff in and out of the stations. Probably no harder to get on the tube and it's quicker and cheaper.
If she is going to be there during rush hour with a lot of baggage though, yes, take a cab.

She is being met at Euston Station by another friend who can help with her luggage.

One question - if she has too much luggage to easily manage alone, how is she coping w/the Eurostar?

I might take a taxi myself depending on the time of day. But the tube will often be faster and will cost a fraction. Luggage on the tube would not be my decider unless I had a LOT. And if so, getting on/off Eurostar and through Waterloo station would be a pain too.

Rather than schlep luggage down into the ground and back up again, how about a #59, #68, or #168 bus door-to-door at street level. Plenty of storage for luggage at the front door.

Any chance the friend would be willing to meet her at Waterloo?
