10 swiss francs or about $11 per seat however - I'd just wing it like most will I think!

it's easy to do so, as it is easy to go by Rhine river boat from Schaffhausen to Stein am Rhein> Swiss Passes I believe are 100% valid on these boats as are most tourist boats in Switzerland.

Also, what is the best way to visit rhine falls....I was initially thinking of taking the train from zurich....but I also got a suggestion of a 3-4 hr tour via tour>

so so easy to do on your own - I did a day trip there from Lucerne - take a train right to the falls if you want, changing in Schlaffhausen, which also deserves a good look over.
