Switzerland, May 20-30, get-together anyone?
Hello, I will be in Switzerland if anybody wants to meet for a pre- or after- dinner drink or maybe dinner or just to chat?
Zurich: May 21 Saturday
Interlaken: May 23 Monday, May 24 Tuesday
Zermatt: May 26 Thursday, May 27 Friday.
These are the dates when I will have free evenings.
Any suggestions are welcome. I will check at home - must have the hotel list, don't have it with me at work now.

OK, here we go.
Zurich: Sofitel Stampfenbachstrasse 60, across the river from the main train station, it has restaurant Bel Etage opened till 23.00 midweek. Does this mean closed Saturday night? Unbelievable! I'll go hungry in Zurich
There is also a bar/lounge and a coffee shop in the hotel.
Interlaken: Metropole Hoheweg 37. Top-O-Met restaurant on 18th floor, also restaurant Bellini and Metro bar with live piano music.
Zermatt: Alex Bodmenstrasse 12, it has a restaurant and a grill room, or maybe it's the same, not much info on the internet for this one.
So... anybody on the same dates in the same cities
Edward, Erwench, it will be interesting to compare our reports.

I'm interested in what hotels you all will be staying in during your visit. I'm in the begining stages of planning for next year. We will only have 3 days to spend in Switzerland, after a week in Paris and Loire. It is our first trip to Europe.
Thank you for your time.

Emily, I am staying at The B&B in Luzern my first 2 nights (http://www.thebandb.ch/zimmer_e.html) for about 79SF per night.
After that I don't have anything reserved, but I will probably stay at Hotel Mittaghorn in Gimmelwald (http://www.ricksteves.com/plan/desti...mittaghorn.htm) for about 45 SF per night.
Then I'll probably go to either Vevey or Lausanne; not sure where I'll stay in those places. I'm open to suggestions as long as they are under 100SF for a single.
