Swiss Airlines

Just throwing this out there in case anyone gets a good deal and wants to know whether to fly Swiss. Do it! We just flew to and from Rome and their service was much better than other airlines we have flown to Italy. Very attentive staff who were helpful every step of the way. The seats were the typical coach crunch but they had the seatback video screens and we enjoyed the trip with them.

I like Swiss the best too. I just flew them to and from Rome and played Trivia with other passengers in the plane. It made the time "fly" by!

Swiss belongs to Lufthansa, so expect Lufthansa quality standards.

Thanks for this post. We're flying them Miami to Zurich next summer. Paid a little more for a direct flight. Great to know about the video screens. What types of features do the screens provide? And is it on all Swiss Air flights?

Actually, free alcohol in economy is not common for U.S. carriers. On Continental and American, all alcohol is $5.00. They started this after 9-11. Continental will usually keep the fasten seat belt sign on for the entire flight to Europe. Delta gives one free alcoholic drink in Economy on flights to Europe. United started charging $5 a few years ago.
