Success getting the U.S. C.D.C card converted to the French health passport

I'll be there for one month and I'm also not looking forward to having to get tested every three days from both a cost and convenience standpoint, but I'm thinking now I may only have to do it a few times.

Thanks again ellen.....I guess we will all have to wait and see, To me, it makes no practical sense at all to do this every three days because the pharmacies would not be able to do anything but! Think of the time, the paperwork, the cost........I will follow up on your advice and cross fingers....

I just drove into Chamonix today from Switzerland.
Hotel asked to see my CDC card. They said some restaurants may ask for the pass sanitaire.
I grabbed something to eat at lunch and they didn't bring it up at all. But this was mostly a takeout place.

On TGV to Avignon. Daughter got her pass this morning and I got mine 5 min after boarding TGV. At 1530.
They do check for the pass before going through the turnstile ticket machine. Should have tried my CDC card but forgot. All three restaurants we ate at while in Paris would accept the CDC card. We got tested because it would have really screwed up our vacation for a day or two if we got turned away at SNCF. A waste of 60 Euros Curtesy of the French government.

TGV lurch caused me to post prematurely. Our original pass application was on August 12 and the website application was on August 23. Have no idea which application went through
As an aside, had not realized before this trip that there is a difference between TGV INOUI and QUIGO.
TGV INOUI is like the usual TGV and the QUIGO is second class only and charges for baggage, 5 Euros per baggage on ticketing and 20 Euros at the train station
Also note a there seems to be a fair number of US tourists in Paris but no Japanese or Chinese tourists. Did not notice any US tourists in Bordeaux this past June

Good news here: sent all information into the current Web site process 11 days ago, and received my confirmation and QR code today - plenty of time for my departure two weeks from now. Easy transfer into the TousAntiCovid app. One less thing to fret about ...

I'm wondering if it was luck that mine came with time to spare before I leave or if they've hired more people to process them...or what...
Anyway, there's hope for everyone. My husband will be with me for the first week I'm in Paris. Because it was taking so long and he'll only be there a week, I decided not to upload his information on the newer site. We had uploaded it on the original site, but I don't think they're processing from it now. But I'm going to upload it today on the new site and see if he gets his before we leave or if mine was just a fluke.

I thought it might be interesting to show that even going to a place as simple as McDonald's now requires a bit of preparation.
However, takeaway sales are still possible without any documents...

I did so last evening.
It worked!! The link to the Passe was in my Inbox at 6 AM today.
On the confirmation-of-receipt email you receive after applying, there's a link to "Messageries". Clicking on that opens a page with a box for typing your message. I asked:
"Je souhaite accélérer la délivrance de mon document. Avez-vous besoin de plus d'informations de ma part?"
