Her posts are fine, but please don't speak for others when expressing envy. Studying abroad had been VERY common for quite some time - any many people posting here have done so. Many people enjoy these posts for reasons OTHER than envy, i.e. those who also studied aboard feel a sense of camaraderie, etc.

I have to agree that some people do go strangely overbaord in the DEGRGEE of their positive reactions to threads of this nature - although some people were much more extreme in going gaga over Beth Anderson's attempted move to London. Her posts were harmless, but some people responded as if she was reporting back to us about her explorations on Mars. More than a quarter of a million U. S. residents move abroad EVERY YEAR. Studying abroad has become increasingly common over the last 20 years - and it's a wonderful experience.
Genesea - this was not meant to be directed at you in anyway. I hope you are having a wonderful time and that you will continue to share.
