Stroller at Versailles?
Hello all!
We are leaving in 10 days for our trip to Paris and are so excited!
I seem to recall reading that "baby carriages" (which I took to mean strollers that we use for babies or small children) were not permitted at Versailles. However, I have been looking through my travel guides and haven't seen that same information. It would be very convenient for us to be able to take our daughter's stroller, since we'll be walking a good bit.
Can someone provide information on whether strollers are allowed at Versailles?

French gardens typically don't have paved paths - but paths made of gravel - and I can't imagine pushing a stroller on them would be anything but very difficult.
I can imagine that they might not want them indoors to avoid damaging the floors. I would double check the Versailles website. And a quick look at the website tells you that they will check your stroller, backpack or luggage at the entrance.
