oh, and returning from Millesgarden, it took us about a 5 minute walk down the street and across to the bus station, a 5 minute wait for the next bus (I think they are about every 15 minutes) a short, 5 minute bus ride to the train where we went a few stations to get into the main part of the city - it wasn't more than 30 minutes total even with figuring out which train/where bus stop was/etc.
we came back by that land route, on the way out, we actually stopped there on our way back from Vaxholm by getting off on a different island and taking the train to the Millesgarden.
also, you may want to check out the Stockhollm card when you get there for entry to things, when we did the math it didn't make sense for us when se added up what was free, what things had an entry fee, etc but depending on someone's interests it might.
