Stayed at Hotel Valadon's family cottage?
We are trying to make our hotel selection for a family of five. The Hotel Valadon has a family cottage that sounds great--a double room and adjacent triple opening to an interior courtyard. It's around $250 a night. Has anyone stayed there? Le Motte Picquet is comparable in price. Any suggestions. The trip will be in early June.
Thanks!

I have stayed at hotel Valadon three times, and I like it very much. It is in a great location on a quiet street just a block from Rue Cler. I don't know anything about the "family cottage, but the double rooms are large and attractive- decorated in white with touches of red and black. The breakfast room is , I think , adjacent to an interior courtyard.

We are staying at the HOTEL VALADON next month in the "family room". the owner says it has a king bed and a smaller bed for our older daughter. It also has a private terrace. This is our first trip to Paris and I think that the selection of this hotel is a good one considering the price and location. It is also a NON-SMOKING ROOM which is hard to find in Paris.

To INSIGHT: Just returned from a 5 night stay at the HOTEL VALADON. We are a family of 3 and stayed in their "Family room" which accomodated us very comfortably. My hubby and I had a king-sized bed with crisp white sheets, fluffy down-filled pillows and comforters. It was the best sleep we had in a hotel in a long time and we travel alot. Our daughter had a twin and was comfy as well. The bathroom to this unit is downstairs and is huge, clean and has an over-sized bathtub as well as shower with a separate toilet
(water closet). I am quite picky about my accomodations and I had no complaints during our stay. It is a charming, small hotel in the 7th with breakfast included in the price. The "family room" is specifically for non-smokers and that was an important consideration for us as well. Clean, fresh and homey! The inner courtyard is really small but we didn't spend much time there for this detail to matter much. Have a great time in Paris.
