Hi,<BR><BR>The origional minuture of the Statue of Liberty by Bartoldi is located at the point of the Ile des Cynges (Ile of Swans) in the Seine at the pont Grenelle.<BR><BR>You may follow the link below to visit the bridge and statue.<BR><BR>Le pont, totalement reconstruit en 1968, franchit les deux bras de la Seine sans point d'appui. Le modèle réduit original de la statue de la Liberté domine la pointe de l'île des Cygnes. Yes, the statue is still there. As Donna said, it's on the rue Guynemer side, not too far from where the ponies go up and down. Keep your eyes peeled--there are usually tourists around it making classic Lady Liberty poses and taking pictures (and not just American tourists). If you're not in Paris and want to see the statue on the Seine, rent the movie Frantic starring Harrison Ford.
