St Tropez - Hotel Help
I'm trying to decide on a hotel in St Tropez for 2 nights in September as part of a week's holiday on the Cote d'Azur.
We want to be within walking distance of restaurants in the evening and we will need parking. Our budget is 200 euros per night max.
Can anyone comment on the following hotels:
Hotel Le Mouillage http://www.hotelmouillage.fr
Hotel La Bastide du Port http://www.bastideduport.com
Hotel Playa http://www.playahotelsttropez.com/
Hotel Les Palmiers http://www.hotel-les-palmiers.com
Hotel Sube http://www.hotel-sube.com/
Hotel Le Levant http://www.hotelleriedusoleil.com/le...t_hotel_uk.htm
Many thanks

Well I've narrowed it down to two hotels, and am still hoping someone has some info on either of them to help us decide:
Hotel Le Mouillage http://www.hotelmouillage.fr
Hotel La Bastide du Port http://www.bastideduport.com
Can anyone tell me which of these is closer to the centre, please?

Violetm its terribly terribly easy to park at the Municipal lot just south of the harbor..its walkable close.
I'd stay at the Sub in a New York Minute.
From your list, I'd not stay at the Mouillage... Bastide du Port would be convenient.
Check the websites for a couple of hotels at the Place du Lices ... they might have parking if you insist.
But I'll tell you, the muncipal lot is very nice!!

I meant to say the Mouillage would be a "drive to and from" distance. At the Bastide, you have your pastis in the afternoon, then your rose's, a little dinner, walk along and see the cute teeny tiny boats at the harbor (HAHAHAHAHA)...

Thanks Suzie,
We'll think about the parking issue and Hotel Sube.
According to Google Earth - the Bastide du Port is 600 yards closer to St Tropez centre than Le Mouillage is, but they are on the same road ... Wouldn't that mean that Bastide du Port is a drive away also?
From the pictures, Le Mouillage looks much nicer and has a pool, but then pictures can often be misleading ...
