Saint Tropez Hotels- Any standouts?
Anybody have any insight into real good hotels that are in walking distance to the heart of the action. (Is the port area the heart of the action?)

Thanks for any advice.

I agree with cigalchanta. But we stayed at the Hotel Sube, literally on the port in the heart of the action. We booked way ahead and specified the room with the balcony on the port. It was great fun!!

any scoop on a hotel in san tropez calles
Hotel des Lices.
Also, how far of a walk is it from Place des lices to the port area where Hotel Sube is located? Thanks

The markets are tues. and thurs. mornings on the Place des Lice. The Boules lot is where the celebrities and wannabes play.

Market is Tues and Saturday - not Thursday.
