St. Germain/Latin Qtr Hotel help needed!
My husband and I are planning a trip to Paris in May. It will be our first visit for both of us. I've done the research, and I am intrigued with the neighborhoods in the St. Germain and Latin Quarter area. I think we would enjoy staying in that area for a variety of reasons. I'm looking for a good hotel recommendation. I've read tons of reviews on this site and on TripAdvisor, and I have to say that I'm not overly impressed with the some of the boutique hotels I've seen (up-keep, service, etc.). We're not looking to spend over $400 a night. Please pass along some good recommendations. Thanks!

In your price range, you can get a Deluxe room with a marble bathroom at Hotel Lutetia, 45 Boulevard Raspail, for 330 EUR and get complimentary full American buffet breakfast, 50 EUR room credit, noon early check-in and upgrade to a Jr. Suite (if available).

If you are also considering hotels well below that price range I have 2 that I've stayed in and really liked both. One is Hotel Saint Germain:

The other is Hotel Henri IV Rive Gauche
www.henri-paris-hotel.com
Both are a block from the Seine and very comfortable, small hotels.

Hi H,
If you wouldn't mind paying about 1/2 that amount,
We always stay at the Hotel Bonaparte, 61 Rue Bonaparte in the 6th. From 124E dbl w/bkfst. It is located near 3 metro stops. Has AC and an elevator.
Tel 33 1 43 26 97 37
FAX 33 1 46 33 57 67
