Help selecting Paris hotel
I am taking my 19 year old son to Paris in early March-his first time. I think I want to stay in the 6th, for easy walking and interesting streets. Getting confused with hotel choices. Can anyone recommend a 3-star hotel that has rooms with 2 beds, helpful staff and great atmosphere for a teen?

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Henri IV Rive Gauche with our teenage son. We had a triple room but my parents had a double. The neighborhood is lively without being too noisy and its a block from the Seine and about 2 blocks from Notre Dame. We loved the hotel, atmosphere and the location.

behind the louvre and comedie francaise..
timhotel palais royal.
i was very happy with this decision. it has AC for summer.
we had stayed in the 5th last time and i think i like this location better.
there are many great locations and numerous simple, clean hotels. you will get lots of good advice here and also search on old threads, as this question has been addressed in depth on many.

Hi L,
If you would be willing to take a very good 2*, we always stay at the Hotel Bonaparte, 61 Rue Bonaparte in the 6th. From 124E twin w/bkfst. It is located near 3 metro stops. Has AC and an elevator.

thanks, sandi -- I did a pretty thorough search on Fodor's before I made my shortlist and then my decision so I probably already benefited by comments made by you and others, but it never hurts to hear another positive report about the place you've chosen!
