Split to Dubrovnik via Mostar in one day?

Sorry. Don't think I posted this the right way the first time... Is it feasible to do this trip in one day? Does anybody know how long it takes from Split to Mostar and then from Mostar to Dubrovnik? Would we need a visa? Would we be better off just driving straight along the coast? Thanks for your help.

Well, it takes about 1 1/2 hours to get from Dubrovnik to Mostar and it takes 4 1/2 hours to get from Dubrovnik to Split. It could be done in one day. As an American or Canadian you don't need a Visa but you didn't say where you were from.

I think Mostar is worth a visit. When I was there in June the bridge wasn't open yet but it was scheduled to open in 3 weeks.

I would guess that it is probably a 3-4 hour drive but I have not made that trip. Mostar is East of Dubrovnik.

Having a car will make your Mostar trip easier.

I would suggest driving from Dubrovnik to Mostar during the day, and then drive back to the coast road and stay in one of the Makarska towns before heading on to Split.
