Should these items come with a hire car?

We just asked the European sales rep here in the U.S. and he told us Saab used to equip the cars, but don't anymore. We will have to suck it up and buy those things. I'm not carrying them back, I'll just leave them in the car and hope they come through customs. We were told to leave the car empty- but our salesguy said a car came through customs with about 50 magazines in the passenger compartment..... I wonder what kind of magazines come from Sweden that you would need to fill your car????
