Shipping boxes near Avignon

Does anyone know where I can find a very large shipping box and then where to go to send it? Hopefully near Avignon. Thanks.

How large is very large? Because the post offices have several size boxes with a flat rate on them, called Colissimos. That means a flat rate for whatever you can fit in it, the weight doesn't matter up to a certain limit, anyway. They aren't cheap, but convenient. They have at least 2 sizes, L (max 5 kg) and XL (max 7 kg), and they cost around 40 euro to send. Now that still isn't that huge, of course, what size do you really need.

Man that's hard to search from this side...
we use DHL for international documents BUT the website is a bugger to see if they have offices in your vicinity...

Fed Ex? and UPS at least advertise international services

There are 13 La Poste offices in Avignon. Here is information in English on how to send parcels http://www.laposte.com/Visiting-France.

It may be possible to get around the 7 kg limit and send up to 30 kg in a single box. That's 66 pounds. Can you lift that?

You might be better off using air freight, airport to airport. Check your airline.

Could you ask a vendor of some sort, the glassware people, the art/sculpture dealers who they use?

It already has some bubble wrap around it - actually lots. The size is 36 by 50 inches.

I have found the address for Federal Express in Marseille - the airport. Oh well, I already know the way.
