Shaping up Granada Visit. Alhambra help?
So, I got distracted during December and didn't try to buy Alhambra tickets. Today I'm searching the official site https://tickets.alhambra-patronato.es for day or night tickets April 5,6, or 7, and am seeing red all day every day. Except Generalife weeknight tickets, all month only 2230-2330 available. (One random availability on the 10th, after we'll have left, makes me think somehow everything got snatched up already.)
Is that the size of it? Must we book a tour? If so, any recommendations?

Stokebailey, depends on how many tickets you are trying to buy. I find availability for single tickets on most of those days. You may also want to look for tickets under the Alhambra and Rodriguez Acosta Foundation Combined Tour because there may be a separate allotment for those, they cost a couple euros more but may be still cheaper than a private tour. You may be able to stagger the times for the members in your group and be able to find tickets.

kmowatt, I understand that they're available three months in advance. So maybe a hair early for you, two weeks late for me. I was looking at the site on my original post, not Ticketmaster.
Thanks, vipsha. I'm looking at the Granada Card now, 37€ each, possibly worth it-ish for our three + full days there and access to other tourist sites. What website are you looking at that has single tickets? There will be only two of us.

Yes! The Alhambra and Rodriguez Acosta Foundation Combined Tour had availability at a good time on the 8th. Thanks, vipsha.
I'd still like to visit the Palacio Nasrid at night. I got nighttime Generalife tickets on the official site. Will keep trying for that.

Pretty sure they don’t get released until 2 months prior.
Hmm there was a refresh with my comment which brought me up to the point that OP got tickets. Congrats Stokebailey!

I asked the "¿alguna duda?" chat person on https://tickets.alhambra-patronato.es, who said to keep trying the website many many times because they open up. Seems improbable. Just now I searched for two tickets, calendar all red. Tried for single, found a night time one, Palacio Nasrid on Saturday, snatched it for my daughter just in case. (must ID person going, and she must have passport to show.) When I looked back hoping for another single, that date was red. Maybe the week after Easter is a big school break? I'd have thought the week before.
So kmowatt, I'd start looking just at three months advance. May is I think their biggest month.

I was looking at the website you posted. We had to stagger our tickets and book slightly different times to enter the Nasrid. When we checked for multiple tickets, the system checked availability for all tickets at the same time slot and turned 'red', but when we booked 1 at a time it turned yellow for the exact same dates.

Going middle of March. Couldn’t find tickets for two for the available night visits and only found two tickets for entry one hour before closing at another time. I snatched those up . Are the tickets still to be picked up in advance?

Cjar, if you click on this link there are tickets for mid March at 10:30 AM, although I do not know your exact dates and I am not sure that you can return the ones you already have.
