Seville, Cordoba, San Sebastian-10 days-where to stay/visit along the way?
I am spending 10 days in late May going to Seville and then to San Sebastian. I will be in Barcelona with a friend for a week before this, and then plan to take a train to Seville for another 10 days on my own. I am looking for ideas on how long to stay in Seville and how long to spend in San Sebastian. I wondering if I should visit Cordoba while I am in Seville--should I stay in Cordoba, or take a day trip from Seville? Is there some other place I should make time to visit, or will I be good with what I have for the time available? I love this forum and thank you all for your help!
Day 1 train from Barcelona->Seville
Day 2-? Seville
Day ?->? Cordoba
Day ?->9 San Sebastion
Day 10 leave San Sebastian

I hate to disagree with our amigo danon, but but San Sebastian-Donostia has much more to offer then just its outstanding cuisine. It gives you quick access to Bilbao, Tolosa, Pamplona and the Pays Basque, four major food destinations, all within an hours drive.

Lo siento, Robert , you just said SS has more to offer than outstanding cuisine ..ie.
" four major food destinations".
There is no doubt, there is much to see in Andalusia and in Pays Basque..
but if it is just between Seville and SS..I would spend more time in Seville.

With 10 days, I think it is well worth considering visiting only Andalusia, including Sevilla, Cordoba, Granada, and perhaps one other place. Especially because May is, I believe, an excellent time to visit that part of Spain. JMO.

Mi error! Amiga it is. Nieves will kill me! But spending as much time as we do, in both the south and north, and loving the Sherry Triangle, the area around San Sebastian-Donostia has a bit more to offer, even more then its outstanding cuisine.
To me, Sevilla, the city it self, is always worth a few days, but with a limited amount of time, I would head north. It's a world of difference, not something many first time visitors are aware of.

Don't envy. Life is too short. I assume I've been traveling a bit longer then most, part of how I was brought up, on the road, more or less. Just enjoy it when you can! And remember, we all have our own passions.

Córdoba is celebrating its annual and flamenco inspired Feria by the end of May (23-30. May). Food, wine, dance, music, song, concerts and fiesta spirit 24/7. Could be a crash intro to Andalucia that gives you the opportunity to get under the skin of things. The more than one hundred festival tents are open for everybody.
