7 Fuessen (via Neuschwanstein,Hohenschwangau)
8 Rothenburg (via Wies, Augsburg,)

Well Munich and Berlin look OK. for the other days you haven;t given yourself time to get from one place to another and then to actually see anything. Granted some of these places are very close together (and probably should be done from one hotel rather than moving) but others you will just have time to drive from one place to another.
Have you been to viamichelin.com to see drive times. Have you left yourself time to pack, check out of a hotel and at the next town find the hotel, find a place to put the car, check in and unpack? If so I think you will find you have only a couple of hours to see a whole city.
We have done numerous rod trips in europe, including Germany - and the rule for seeing anything is 5 nights in a big city and 2 or 3 nights in small towns (seeing the town and other nearby sights versus constant checking in and out). I know that in many places the autobahn has no speed limits (and it;s fun as long as you have a high power car - and know enough to stay out of the left lane so you're not run down by a big Mercedes or Ferrari) but you can also find major traffic jams near larger cities and speeds on local roads are much slower.

Hi,
Instead of the 1 nighters, I'd choose either Fuessen or the G-P area to base for nights 6 and 7. The drive between G-P and Fuesen is less than an hour and a half. I'd probably cut a night from Munich and add it to this stay or add it to Rothenburg. Just some suggestions.

A suggestion;
1-4 Munich
5-6 Garmisch (Neuschwanstein by day trip, or on arriving/departing day)
7 Rothenburg (worth a night to see it in a "quiet" state in the eve. or morn.)
8-9 Bamberg (visit Nuremberg on the way from Rothenburg)
10-12 Dresden
13-16 Berlin
You can visit the Wieskirche and Augsburg on the way to Rothenburg from Garmisch, but the driving time alone is 3.5 hours. Cutting one of them out means you would arrive in Rothenburg at a decent time.
You can also spend most of a day visiting Nuremberg and still get to Bamberg easily from Rothenburg - its only about 2 hours for the total drive, including Nuremberg a s stop.
Dresden does deserve 3 days and you can leave later from Bamberg and stop somewhere along the way(Bayreuth, Leipzig, Meissen) a 3-4 hour drive depending on the stop chosen, using up most of that first Dresden night and leaving you with 2-2.5 full days there, if you like.
