Seeking Recommendations for visiting Ischia
My husband and I will be visiting Sorrento this Spring. We'd like to take a day trip to Ischia. Looking for any recommendations on how to make the most of our day trip. For instance, should we rent a scooter? Other thoughts of a day trip? Thanks.

Scooter would be fine if you are not scared to ride one. The bus service is good, I thought.
Can't you spend a night on the island???

I spent four nights there and enjoyed it. I agree with ekscrunchy, how comfortable are you riding a scooter? Bus routes circle the island. I only speak a little Italian (mostly regarding food) and don't remember having any trouble communicating.
