Jes - Good choice! Forio is IMO the most attractive town in Ischia. I'm sure you won't be disappointed

I'm reading that the hotel I'm staying at (Mezzatorre) is quiet at night. How is the town in Forio at night? I think there is a shuttle bus. I definitely want a little nightlife--nothing too crazy, but I want to be around people, cute restaurants and maybe listen to some music (like I remember doing on Capri). Will Forio fit the bill?

Jes - I enjoyed the town at night - there are several nice trattorie and bars in the centre and it was nice to sit out in the piazza. It was busy - but I was there in summer.
I can't help you with nightlife/music though as I wasn't looking for it.
