hotel luna in capri

i'm booking this hotel for three young females ages 22- 26. i was wondering if this is going to be too old for us and if the hotel is in town or up away in the mountains.

our other concern is going out at night time and being central located.

The Luna is very centrally located. It's a short easy walk to the Piazetta. I don't think you will find it "too old" for you. There will be a mix of people of all ages there unlike the Quisisana that is mainly frequented by older people with a lot of money.

And what is wrong with older people with lots of money?????? Besides, many of Europe's top models stay at Quisisana. The last time I was there, Naomi Campbell was in residence. Luna is a nice hotel, but I don't think the people who stay there are any younger than the guests at Quisisana, many families, however.

Nothing is wrong with old people with lots of money, in fact, one day, I hope to be one. It's just that every time I've been to the Quisisana, it's full of wealthy retired people, not that there is anything wrong with that, but the OP seemed to be concerned about age of clientele. And if Naomi Campbell stays at a place, that's one reason I would avoid it.

Our family just got back from Luna, which we loved, but I don't know that I'd recommend it for three young women. Yes, it's central to the piazetta, and would be very safe at night, but I'm wondering if you'd find it too old. I don't know Capri well enough to recommend other places, but maybe there's something that would be funkier
and still central and safe enough for your friends.

Grinisa- I'm also trying to get info on the Hotel Luna but I'm unable to get the url. The one I've found just has a bunch of jpeg files of the hotels view. Thx

Rohani,

The website for Luna is: www.lunahotel.com

Just make sure to ask for a superior room with seaview or at least with garden view. Some of the standard rooms are in the back facing an interior courtyard.

Good luck!
