Pardon my ignorance, but why can't anymore messages be added to this thread of Scarlett's?

For those of you who haven't read it, pull it up for some CLEVER replies.

If you can't post a reply it's due to the thread must have been too controversial and Fodors blocked it.

It means the editors have chosen to "freeze" the thread, which can be for any number of reasons. They decide not to let it grow any further, and block the ability to reply.

As you might notice, a troll or two came along and instead of the thread being deleted completely, it was frozen..which I am happy about.
There were SO many clever and funny replies, I am glad you liked it.

Not in my experience. Scarlett is cleverly funny. I find her humor enjoyable because it isn't CRUDE! In a stylish, sophisticated way she goes through thread to thread, and I think that's great.

Those were the days of a great forum with very clever and fun people. A classic thread. Too bad Betty and Billy are not available anymore. Also, many classic trip reports.

The Loons and also Thins reports were very funny and entertaining.

I read Scarlett's old thread last night and thought both her trip report and the responses were great. A classic thread! I wonder if we can have a section in the new format of classic threads?
