Salisbury, Andover UK area B&B's??

Could anyone please tell us of any good B&B's in the Salisbury - Andover area? We are coming from Heathrow towards Tavistock in Devon and want to spend the night roughly about an hour out from Heathrow.
It will be 31 Dec 06 as well. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Andover is vile. Truly truly horrible. It's a london overspill town and I can think of no reason why on earth you would want to go there (I'm from near to Andover). There's only one good thing to come out of Andover - The Troggs.

Salisbury is very lovely indeed.

We enjoyed Elm Tree Cottage just west of Salisbury in Stapleford. It was convenient, updated spacious rooms and quiet.

The nearest town to stonehenge is Amesbury. It's pretty tiny (and it's quite nice too). It's about 2 miles from stonehenge.

Bridge Farm B&B, just out of Salisbury is a delight. There is a walking path you can take to get to the centre of Salisbury - takes about 20minutes. A beautiful garden by a stream (complete with two swans when we were there).

And Norma, the host, is very welcoming. Take a look at www.bridgefarmbb.co.uk.
