Salerno > Positano Bus Schedule
Does anyone know where I can find a bus schedule from Salerno to Positano?
Or where I can find a map of Positano that shows where the docks and bus station are.

Hi W,
SITA bus schedules for Campania are at http://tinyurl.com/ybe6xk
The bus stops at or near the train station.
For maps, see www.mappy.com or www.viamichelin.com.
There are 2 docks in Salerno, do you want the ferry to Positano?

Yes, I'll probably be taking the ferry to Positano. But my hostel is near the bus station, so if the bus station is far from the dock then maybe I should take the bus since I plan to walk to the hostel.

Hi WA - There is no bus 'station' in Positano - just a couple of bus stops on the main road (Sponda, Chiesa Nuova).
If you are staying at the hostel in Positano (- Brikette) it's 150m from the Chiesa Nuova (- Bar Internazionale) bus stop.
If you plan to go by bus, the Marozzi service from Rome (- see your other post) would be a convenient, cheap and relatively hassle-free option.
Alternatively train to Sorrento (- via Naples) - and SITA bus from there - is quicker than bus from Salerno.
If you prefer to come by ferry from Salerno it's too far to hike up from the jetty - but you can walk up to the piazza and catch the local 'Positano Interno' bus up to Chiesa Nuova/Bar Internazionale.
Hope this helps ...
