Oh, Mimi. This is the first time I write to you as a name and not a handle, which is appropriate as what you are going through is an extremely human experience. My Dad is going through his 4th cancer right now (this time it is liver, definitely the most serious), so the coping mechanisms are all in place, but it is still an extremely delicate situation to deal with or even contemplate.
Good luck to you and yours and remember our mantra: Attitude is everything. After 17 years of cancer diagnosis, operations and recoveries, it is still the one truth for me.

My best wishes and prayers for your peace & strength and your husband's recovery go out to you. My husband has reocurring cancer - since 1983 - so many new treatments - there is hope now where there wasn't in the past.

Hello, Mimi;
As a 5 year member of the Fodor's family, I'm very familiar with your posts, travels, etc. and know from them that you are one of life's special people, so it only follows that your beloved husband is, as well.
What can I say that hasn't been said? You both will be in my daily prayers from now on. Pls. let us know how things progress.

My loving wife is a breast cancer survivor. Best medicines include prayer, positive attitude, solid support of friends, chemo and radiation.
Our prayers and positive thoughts will be with Mimi's husband.
