Rubber Stamps in Paris

Does anyone know if there are any stamp stores in Paris, or stores which sell rubber stamps? There are so many stamps available in the US which feature Paris, it would be fun to see what they sell there.
Thanks

It is just too too much here. I hope it isn't there. But look at the Samarataine department store.

Europeans do not have to invent sham crafts such as scrap booking and rubber stamping. Those are specialties of US soccer moms with no talent and little imagination.

Sheila, you will definitely find rubber stamps for sale in Paris, but I cannot tell you exactly where. I know that there are a number of European stamp companies and they distribute into France. You will certainly find some different designs, although you will see US products selling there as well. I would ask at some of the trendier gift shops -- you are more likely to find them there than in a craft or art store setting.

If you're really serious about it, find a few of the European stamp companies on line and ask them what shops they sell to in Paris.

OhNo, you don't actually know what you are talking about. While your experience of rubber stamp art may be confined to scrapbooking, it has its roots in wonderful, funky, and surrealist mail art. Amsterdam was one of the first centers of this art, about 25-30 years ago.

Thanks for your ideas, Skidoo and Marilyn, especially about contacting the companies to see who to whom they sell in Paris.
Ohno, I have friends who are graphic artists who create gorgeous collage art using stamps. Marilyn is absolutely right.
