Route for Christmas Markets by train from Stuttgart?
I am in Stuttgart visting a friend from November 30-December 7 and want see as much as possible of the Christmas Markets, while visiting a castle, maybe a winery in Alsace area. What would be the best schedule to hit the highlights for a newbie to Europe.
thanks,
Angie

Hi Angie.
How about from Stuttgart to Munich. From Munich to Nurenberg. Nurenberg to Rothenburg. Rothenburg to Wurzburg. Wurzburg to Heidelberg (or Speyer) then back to Stuttgart.
There is a castle in Heidelberg and also an amazing one near Hechingen, the Hohenzollern Castle.
