Route for Christmas Markets by train from Stuttgart?
I am in Stuttgart visting a friend from November 30-December 7 and want see as much as possible of the Christmas Markets, while visiting a castle, maybe a winery in Alsace area. What would be the best schedule to hit the highlights for a newbie to Europe.
thanks, Angie |
Hi Angie.
How about from Stuttgart to Munich. From Munich to Nurenberg. Nurenberg to Rothenburg. Rothenburg to Wurzburg. Wurzburg to Heidelberg (or Speyer) then back to Stuttgart. There is a castle in Heidelberg and also an amazing one near Hechingen, the Hohenzollern Castle. |
Angie, I forgot to add this link to the Hohenzollern Castle:
