I've read contradictory reports about the rooftop pool at Electra Palace on multiple websites. Can anyone who has been there recently tell me if there is a rooftop pool in addition to the indoor pool/spa at the Electra Palace? I'm looking to stay there for a couple days during my honeymoon next september for some sightseeing before heading to the islands. thanks.

We were there in May and there is no pool on the rooftop any longer. Not sure if plans are underway to put it back in. Only some chairs out on the roof, but the view of the Acropolis is spectacular.

the hotel is very nice, get a room with the acropolis view. Excellent location.

for a honeymoon either the Electra Palace, Grand Bretagne or the King George.

We are booking there for next year and also read that they are adding or re-doing a rooftop pool. I will be very disappointed if this is not the case.

Nice rooftop pool at Dorian Inn near Omonia Square--good breakfasts, too!

There was a big open, empty pool on the roof in October. Did not see any sign of work being done to repair the area. The hotel is pretty good but service is not very warm.

I remember swimming all by myself in the roof pool of Electra Palace as a highlight of Athens. Swimming back and forth, beautifully lit Acropolis in front of my eyes...
