We enjoyed the hop on/hop off bus from the train station. We sat in the upper deck and rode around for a few hours - a great city overview and it is very cheap - I forget how much. We did this the first day we arrived when we were too jet lagged to really walk around much. Definietly do not miss the Piazza Navona in the evening.
