Rome hotels advice

Hello,
I am a travel agent and am working on client's trip. We are trying to choose between the following hotels in Rome:
Hotel Dei Borgognoni
Residenza Antica
La Residenza

If somebody had first time experience, I would appreciate it. All of them are in good location, it is just would like to know if you stayed there and if you enjoyed it.
Regards
Sophia

We stayed at La Residenza in June of 1999. We loved it. The location is terrific. You can walk everywhere. There is parking but only a few cars are able to get into the space so we needed to park on the street several days.
The rooms were grand with wonderful European character. My husband and I had a room with a sitting area, large bedroom area and a balcony with wonderful geraniums.( If your client wants this hotel I will go back and search for the room number) The children and my sister-in-law had an even bigger room though not with as large a sitting area. The furnishing were fine, well worn but very comfortable. We had our breakfast in a large dinning room with a more formal feel than the rooms. The food was good and plentiful. People who want grand and plush will not find it here. People who want standardization will not find it here. People who like character will love it.

Kathy,
thank you very much for your feedback, La Rezidenza gave us a good offer for standard room 195 eur per night, but I need to ask them what size are rooms. We need 4 rooms, for 8 people so I think the rooms might be all different.
Looks like you had a suite - the suite they offer for 223 eur.
Our client will love European small size characteristic hotels. I am not clear how big this hotel is - it does not say on their website http://www.hotel-laresidenza.com/
Regards
Sophia

Hello Kathy and Sophia,

Kathy, we are staying at La Residenza at the end of June so it would be kind of you to share your room number or advice about which room(s) to request. I have asked for a spacious room with a balcony and they said they would try to accommodate us but it might be better if I had some specific info.

Sophia, you might be able to get specifics about room sizes since you are a travel agent. Our reservation is also for the standard room at the 195 euros rate. Would you post here if you get any information? When I asked I was told that, of course, rooms vary.

Thank you very much.

Hoping to get some specific room info from Sophia or Kathy or anyone else who has stayed at La Residenza.

Thank you.
