Rome Apartment Rentals
I am thinking of renting apartment in Rome for few days using SleepinItaly. Would you let me know your experience using Sleep In Italy rental agency? Is it reliable? They want to pay full in cash, is that the norm with renting apartments?
How about the following rentals? Has any stayed there before? How about the areas listed there?

Thank you

Asking for cash payment is more than common with Italian apartment rentals, and with Italian businesses in general - they're not eager to pay income tax there. So certainly nothing to worry about.
The first two locations are great, the third is a nightmare on the back side of the moon. Look here for in which area to stay in Rome: http://www.fodors.com/community/euro...odistricts.cfm

I rented an apartment in Rome in January and again last week. In January, I was very close to the 302 apartment you listed. Last week I was just off the Trevi Fountain. I liked the Governo location a little better for the ease of walking to all parts of the historical center. With both apartments, we paid in cash as soon as we arrived.
