Hi 67chevy, I would like to suggest that you repost and have your Title read something along the lines of "Restaurant suggestions for Venice,Tuscany & Rome". That way you will catch the eye of people that have recommendations. Also, utilize the search box here on Fodor's..you should find lots of restaurant reviews. Best wishes.

67chevy,
personally I think you would do better to divide this into 3 separate posts.
'Suggestions for restaurants in Venice?'
'Suggestions for restaurants in Rome?'
'Suggestions' - are you getting the idea?
To ask for restaurants in 3 different places is only going to get confusing, by keeping them separate you can print the individual posts and take them with you.
Good luck!

And while your intentions may be good, 67chevy, it is kind of unfair to ask the posters to spend a lot of time giving suggestions when they have no idea what you want and you apparently haven't put in any effort to do some premliminary work. You could easily do a search here and then say "____ sounds like a great restaurant in Venice, has anyone eaten there lately or can anyone tell me how to get there?"
And frankly it is pointless for someone to sit here and go on and on explaining and offering wonderful fine dining restaurants in all those cities only to have the original poster come back and say, "oh those sound expensive, I meant something like 10euro per meal". Please tell us WHAT you are looking for and then we can help you.

Geez, 67 Chevy, bet you didn't know there were so many rules to posting your question on this board. Fodorites are very helpful, but ONLY if you word a question properly, title it the way they want you to, and don't ask stupid questions.

Stikky, you and your silly post makes me wish that in the future anyone that titles a thread "Restaurants" would be ignored.
A title "Restaurants" sure gives one a clue as to where, what kind, what price range, etc.
Many people here on Fodors take the time to click on these type of threads and then take the time to try to teach others how to get the answers to the questions they have.
Obviously you don't. In otherwords there is nothing you have contributed on this thread that would help 67chevy with his questions.
For being such a "know it all", why don't you answer his question regarding restaurants in venice, rome and tuscany.
We are all waiting for your knowledable advice.

And other than posting yet another tedious scolding of a troll, you've helped the OP exactly how?

Oh. Yes. Excellent point. There was much more fluff than I realized.
First the How To Post instruction.
Next the mindless chatter post. Have a nice day. Here's a cookie.
And then finally the troll scolding.

Personally, I think that it was useful for Rex to post that I'd copied the wrong link - my post was after all trying to help the OP, without the correct link it was useless.
It's very nice of you to keep the post TTT for 67chevy
