Restaurant in Rome
We will be staying in Rome 1 night pre cruise at the Raphael Hotel in the Piazza Novanna.
Can someone please recommend a wonderful restaurant near the Piazza.
No tourist trap please.
Thank you,
Molly

Not sure what you mean by a "wonderful restaurant", but if you like a mid-priced place that is popular with locals, we liked this one:
the Maccheroni Ristorante at Piazza delle Coppelle, 44, phone 06 68307895. It’s very popular with locals and gets very busy. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is lively and interesting. We were conservative and spent about 47 EUR for two, with one-half liter of house wine.
My directions may be off, but I think it is easy walking distance from the Piazza Navonna.

Found its website: http://www.ristorantemaccheroni.com/
which says it is a 'stone's throw' from the Piazza Navona (their spelling).

We went to Santa Lucia Ristorante right near the Piazza Navona. It wasn't touristy at all and the food was amazing. The setting was wonderful, too. Try the artichokes!! Mmmmm...
This link doesn't give you much other than the address, but if you google it you'll find out more.
