We tried to go to Le Timbre and the owner recommended this place and we had a lovely meal. Its very tiny, but has delicious food!

We didn't get to go to it but our friends recommended Pombal on rue Pombal -- said it had a very romantic courtyard and good food.

Sorry, nanamarie -- I really have to read more carefully. Pombal is in the Montmartre area, not Montparnasse.
