I can only say that Taillevent is perfect, in my opinion.
Haven't been to the other.

It's considered (slightly) bad etiquette to re-post your question (as you have already done).

Top it instead.

Don't know what that is? Do a search here on this forum on "topping" and read about it.

It's simply adding a new reply - - no matter how small and inconsequential, and bringing your post back up "to the top" (on the lefthand column).

Best wishes,

Rex
How are new posters supposed to learn. When someone posts a general and vague title like this, usually someone will tell him to repost with a more specific title. Now here is Rex telling him he shouldn't have done that. The other post I saw was better titled and more specific the way it should be.

Bad etiquette by whom, Rex? You? Did Fodor's hire you to write a rule book and you forgot to tell us that?

You've made several comments lately about how people should be nice to newcomers and here you go being snotty again.

Please go away.

I really don't think I was snotty. He didn't post with a more specific title - - he posted twice in a six hour period with the exact same title, and the same question. He even made the comment that "this board really moves fast, so I think I have to re-post".

I think that this is exactly how newcomers learn. And I did it civilly.
