RENFE Telephone Number

I had to cancel my Spain trip and now need to cancel my three RENFE tickets. Was unsuccessful attempting this on its website and have tried to telephone them. Tried 3 of the telephone numbers on the website - not in service. Ditto with the number printed on my tickets. Does anyone have a number they've used recently? (And I did call 011 + 34 + the number). Thanks, Linda

had you purchased them on internet? Here is the internet number 902 109 420 or full service number 902 320 320 ( according to their website)

50% loss if webfare. 30% loss if estrella fare. I didn't see what it is if it is a full fare how much you lose.

If you need help I will be happy to do so.

I have just looked at the site and there appears to be a facility for cancelling your tickets!

Thanks everyone for your responses. I'll try the numbers. Yes, I know I'm taking a hit on the refund. I did book online (and it was very straightforward) but I can't get the refund online option to work for me. Linda, if I have any more problems, I'll email you. Thanks again. Linda

Thought I'd add that I did manage to cancel the tix on-line. It was actually quite straightforward. Suffered a 30% penalty on the Madrid to Cordoba ticket, 15% on the Cordoba to Seville ticket, and 15% again on the Seville to Madrid ticket. Ah, well...

if you had trip insurance i think this should be covered. check the credit card you paid with ( amex does include that on some level cards).

Hello,

I was searching the web on information to cancel Renfe tickets, and have been unsuccessful in doing so. Can you help?

I have tried web - both on Mac/Windows using different browsers (Firefox, IE)

I tried calling the 3 numbers mentioned in this thread, and I keep getting an error (number might be wrong). I also tried Skype to call but that didnt work either I just need to cancel the tickets I have as my entire trip got canceled. Can someone help?

thanks,
tarak

If over the Christmas holidays I suggest it would be a big surprise to have the 'phone answered.

I have no problem arriving at the page with has 'Cancelling Tickets' after clicking on 'Purchase'.

Best wishes.
