Regarding Jungfraujoch
Please tell the directions and distance from Interlaken West Station to the station where we will get train to Jungfraujoch. What is the name of the train? How much is the journey time? Does it go directly to the top or does it stop on the way, if so how many stops are there?

Motumotu: In general, you'll take the train from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen, then to Kleine Scheidegg. From Kleine Scheidegg, you'll take the special railway up to Jungfraujoch.
The whole trip up will take you close to two hours.
The Swiss Rail site is excellent as your resource. You can research your possible journeys here:

I very much apologize Motumotu: My timing was from the Interlaken Ost stop. So you'll have to take Interlaken West to Ost, switch trains there, etc. And the trip would be more like 2 hours and 1/2.
Or there's another train route via Grindelwald, plus there are some combo bus/train routes. All take around the same time.
No matter what, just use the Swiss Rail site and you'll be fine.

You must either contact the train station in the am or check on the internet to see if the top of the mountain is covered with clouds. If it is there's no point spending the time/money to ascend. We were in Interlaken 3 days before there was a day that was clear at the top.

Can we get down at the stops while going up to Jungfraujoch and miss the next train, wander around and catch the next train? If so, what are the best stops we should dovote time at and how much time is sufficient at each stop?
