Recommend hotel in Campo de Fiori, Pantheon, Piazza Navona area?

Beginning stages of planning for first trip to Rome,Italy. Focusing on staying in Campo de Fiori, Pantheon, Piazza Navona area. Need advice for a nice hotel in the area in budget to mid-range price-wise. I have checked out teatropace33 and that appears nice. Any others to suggest? Looking at late spring arrival for a week.

What's budget to midrange to you, and what are the dates of your stay?

We stayed at the Cesari in Rome in November 2004. It is between the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain. It was a great location and got great reviews. We really loved the location and the hotel staff was great.

We always stay at Santa Chiara. It's behind the Pantheon. We just love the location. You can walk to everything. It's a 3 star hotel and last year we paid around 210 euro a night for a double. http://www.venere.com/hotel/?htid=2212&lg=en

Regarding price range, mainly just thinking that I don't need a 4star place, unless it is reasonably priced. a 3 star is fine (2 1/2 if it is a nicer 2 1/2 star)-- if I have to say price, I want to keep 6 nights to under $1000 for hotel. the budget side of me would like it $800 or less . I priced teatropace33 at just under $900 for 6 nights including contiental breakfast.
going late april.

From what I've read, the two disadvantages of Teatropace are the lack of staff from 9 PM to 9 AM (or thereabouts), and the lack of an elevator. The location is very good, though. Other hotels people have mentioned in your price range or less, and in the area:
Albergo della Lunetta
Hotel Parione
Hotel Smeraldo

Hi
We also stayed at the Santa Chiara. Great location by the Pantheon. Very good staff. We were pleased and would stay there again.

The Relais Banchi Vecchi is definitely worth a look. It is in the Campo de Fiori area.

Just wanted to let you know that my husband and I stayed at Teatropace last summer and really liked it. As someone mentioned, there is no elevator - although our room was only 1 flight up the big spiral staircase so it wasn't an issue for us. also, the above poster is correct - the lobby is not staffed all night. however, they did arrange a 6 a.m. taxi for us and there was no problem. We just loved the location!

good luck!
